Refurbishment of the P-19237 railway bridge, located at Mile 23.0 of the Chandler subdivision of the Gaspésie Railway, in the municipality of Port-Daniel-Gascons, MRC du Rocher-Percé, electoral district of Bonaventure.

Main work performed

• Complete and partial demolition of existing structures;
• Implementation of cofferdams for foundation units;
• Implementation of the basic waterproofing concrete for the foundations;
• Implementation of temporary and permanent support (MTQ approved walls);
• Implementation of excavation and filling of foundation units;
• Implementation of the driving of piles type micro-piles;
• Dynamic testing of piles;
• Pile tensile tests;
• Installation of reinforcement for concrete structures;
• Concrete placement (including vibration, finishing and curing) and formwork for foundation units;
• Assembly of the metal frame of the DPG type (railway structure);
• Implementation of bearings / deck joints;
• Implementation of new railways;
• Earthworks of approach embankments with correction of profiles;
• Implementation of the structural repair of the central span (metal trellis);
• Sanding and complete painting of the central span;
